This paper is a teaching-and-research note on what a digital university should explain: it is not their lawyer, but it should not be silent about contractor status, IP assignment and tax residency as general literacy. A short, assessed literacy module reduced naive contract signing in a student survey follow-up. Students still needed local advice. GlobalMind University should keep the module general, updated, and clearly not legal advice. A global digital university that teaches business and computing without this literacy is incomplete.
