This chapter shows GMU students conducting oral-history and text-analysis projects from their cities, with shared ethics review and a common annotation environment. The risk is tourism-in-the-head: students collecting others’ lives without positionality. The mitigation is a methods spine that GMU actually marks. GlobalMind University should fund digital humanities as research training for a global student body, not as decorative quotes on a website.
