This MA sits in the honest middle. You will design tasks that can be sat fairly at 04:00 and at 16:00, write marker guidance that does not punish legitimate World Englishes while still holding a standard, and specify what hubs may say when a student asks for a translation of the rubric. You will not become a licensed IELTS examiner. You will understand why GlobalMind University publishes a language bullet and then has to live it. Seminars rotate. No UN or testing-agency logos in your assessed artefacts. The degree is academic assessment literacy for digital HE, not a ministry teaching licence. You will model exam windows that can be sat at 04:00 and at 16:00 without secretly favouring one block, and you will write marker notes that hold a standard while recognising World Englishes.
