What Global Students Told GlobalMind University: Faster Feedback, Clearer Tasks, More Human Contact
GlobalMind University has published a summary of the latest student voice survey. ambitious learners on every continent who want one accelerated digital campus rather than a local classroom they cannot reach were clear: they will work hard, and they expect the university to work in visible ways.
Three themes dominated. Feedback sometimes arrived after the next assignment had begun. Briefs used adjectives instead of examples. Some global students went too long without a conversation with a person who knew their name.
Henry Wallace, a integrity investigator in Bristol, wrote that a 15-minute adviser call changed a term. "I did not need a speech. I needed a human who had read my last paper."
Responses include the exemplar project, feedback service standards, and adviser caseload monitoring. The Union will track whether the responses happen.
