GlobalMind University Opens the Tuition-Free Online MBA Intake
GlobalMind University is enrolling for the online MBA. Tuition is £0. The programme is the same degree, with the same faculty, the same rubrics and the same external examiners.
The MBA is built for people who already lead — a P&L, a team, a clinical service, a family business, a public office. The taught core covers financial decision-making, managerial economics, marketing, operations and supply chain, strategy, ethics and governance, and business analytics. It ends with a capstone strategic consulting project on the student's own organisation, defended to faculty and practitioners.
"The online MBA is not a lighter MBA," the programme leader said. "It is the same degree with the travel removed. The reason it is free online is that we do not think a working manager should take a loan to get better at a job they already do."
James Whitfield, a civil servant, reframed his capstone as a board paper and was appointed to a wider remit three months after submission. "The degree did the intellectual work," he said. "It did not cost me a mortgage payment a month to do it."
Examination and administrative charges are published on the fees page, and exam sponsorship is available on application. Live clinics run in more than one time zone; recordings and transcripts are provided the same day.
Applicants should show managerial responsibility, comfort with quantitative work, and a specific organisational problem they intend to solve during the programme. A statement of purpose, transcripts where available, and a short account of current work complete the file. Offers are issued on a rolling basis; the application is at /apply.
Staff across admissions, registry, teaching and student services are told to design every process as if the default student is studying after a full day's work: recorded sessions, published rubrics, named advisers, and a library desk that does not close at the end of one country's office hours. GMU will not pretend a programme is light. Applicants should plan their weekly hours before accepting an offer and ask direct questions at the open webinars if a page reads as vague.
GlobalMind University is a global university without a campus gate. Founded in 2019, it publishes news that is operational rather than ceremonial: what changed in a programme, who can apply, how assessment works, and how global students get help. Every programme is delivered fully online across every time zone; there is no campus to relocate to. Questions about the claims in this article should go to the office named as author above.
