Academic regulations
Assessment, progression, academic integrity and appeals at GlobalMind University — the public regulations employers and partners ask for.
- 01
Scope
These regulations apply to every credit-bearing award taught fully online by GlobalMind University. They sit under the published terms governed by the law of the Republic of Mauritius. They do not create a United Nations, African Union, or government partnership.
- 02
Assessment
Modules are assessed by written work, oral viva where required, and identity-checked examinations. Mastery checkpoints replace unused lecture hours. Teaching language is English and is stated on the programme specification.
- 03
Progression and awards
Credit, level, and learning outcomes are published in the programme specifications. An award is conferred when the board of examiners confirms that the outcomes have been met.
- 04
Integrity and appeals
Plagiarism, impersonation, and unauthorised assistance are academic offences. Students may appeal on procedure, not on academic judgement, within the published calendar.
